Factory Direct Electrical and Plastic Supply, Run from Florida

Voltiera operates as a Factory Direct supplier into the US wholesale market with the catalog the distributor actually moves — THHN wire and EMT conduit on the electrical side, plastic pallets, insulated bins, PVC SCH 40 pipe, and the road safety line on the plastic side. South and Central Florida is the direct-sales territory; the rest of the country runs by container.

The pitch on wire and conduit is straight — same spec, same UL listing as the American mills publish (Southwire, Encore, Cerro, Cardinal), at a container price that comes in under their list. We do not compete in a different category; we compete in the category buyers are already in.

Positioned Against the American Mills

In US wholesale electrical, the real competition is domestic. The Voltiera catalog is sized for that.

Same spec, same listing

THHN/THWN-2 under UL 83 and EMT under UL 797 — the same standard the distributor already buys against. No "equivalent." Certificates and lot-level traceability ship with the container.

Container price under list

The pitch is price. By the container, Voltiera wire and conduit come in under Southwire, Encore, Cerro, and Cardinal published list on the same AWG and the same trade size — without sacrificing the listing.

A plastic catalog that fills the container

Plastic pallets, insulated bins, PVC SCH 40, and safety-line products ride in the same container as THHN and EMT. The distributor restocks multiple lines in one landed-cost calculation, not three separate purchase orders.

Florida as the direct territory

South and Central Florida is where Voltiera works the account directly — visits, calls, firm quotes. Outside Florida the structure is the same; what changes is the port of entry and the agent who delivers the container to the buyer's yard.

US Distribution

Two modes, one commercial structure.

Florida-direct

South and Central Florida

Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm, Orlando, Tampa, and the corridors between them. Voltiera works the account directly — visit, call, firm quote — and coordinates the last mile from Florida entry points.

Entry points: PortMiami, Port Everglades.

Rest of US

By container to the distributor's warehouse

Container routes through the entry port the buyer's broker prefers — Houston, Savannah, Charleston, Norfolk, NY/NJ, depending on geography. Incoterms are quoted with the price so the buyer sees the landed cost.

Same catalog, same price structure, same UL listing — what changes is who handles the last mile.

US Wholesale — FAQ

Who does Voltiera sell to in the US?

Wholesale distributors, electrical and plumbing supply houses, plastic pallet resellers, seafood-trade equipment dealers, and contractor accounts that buy by the container. South and Central Florida is the direct-sales territory; the rest of the US runs by container to the distributor's warehouse. The structure is the same either way — Factory Direct, container pricing, real UL listing where the spec calls for it.

Is the wire and conduit really UL-listed, or is it "equivalent"?

Real UL listing on the spec we publish — THHN/THWN-2 under UL 83 and EMT under UL 797. The certificates ship with the container, with lot-level traceability. "Equivalent" is not a Voltiera position; if a SKU is not actually listed, we say so and quote it under the standard it does meet.

What is the minimum order for a US container?

Container is the unit of order — no per-SKU minimum inside the container. A US distributor can build a single-product container (a full container of THHN, for example) or a mixed container that combines THHN, EMT, plastic pallets, insulated bins, PVC SCH 40, and safety-line products to match their restock. Mixed is the natural answer when no single SKU fills 40 feet.

Do you cover all of Florida or just South Florida?

South Florida and Central Florida run as direct-sales territory — Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm, Orlando, Tampa, the corridors that connect them. North Florida and the rest of the US ship by container to the buyer's warehouse. The catalog and the pricing structure are the same in both modes; the difference is who handles the last mile from the port or the local warehouse.

What ports and entry points do you ship through?

PortMiami and Port Everglades are the primary US entry points for the Florida-direct side; for distributor accounts outside Florida the container routes through the entry port the buyer's broker prefers — Houston, Savannah, the Carolinas, the Northeast, the Gulf, depending on geography. Incoterms are quoted with the price so the buyer sees the landed number, not just FOB.

Do you ship samples before the first container?

For wire and conduit, sample length and spool-cut requests are handled case-by-case — a real distributor evaluation against UL paperwork and on-spec performance is the right gate before the first full container, and we support that. For the plastic line (pallets, bins, PVC SCH 40, safety line) sample units ship more straightforwardly. Send the spec you want to evaluate and we line up the right form for it.

Can the same container carry electrical and plastic SKUs together?

Yes. THHN, EMT, plastic pallets, insulated bins, PVC SCH 40, and safety-line products are all container-compatible and routinely ship together. The mixed-container model is one of the structural reasons distributors work with Voltiera — they restock multiple SKU lines in one landed-cost calculation instead of three separate purchase orders.
