THW-90 BH is the upgrade for industrial buildings, commercial warehouses, and mid-density commercial where lower smoke and toxic gas matter but the project is not institutional. LSOH-90+ is mandatory for hospitals, schools, public buildings, transit tunnels — anywhere full halogen-free is specified. THW-90 BH bridges the gap.

What does 40% less smoke and 20% less toxic gas mean in practice?
In a fire scenario, the THW-90 BH PVC compound emits 40% less dense smoke than standard THW PVC — keeping evacuation routes more visible — and 20% less toxic acid gas than standard PVC, reducing the inhalation hazard before egress. Tested per IEC 60332-3-25 Cat. D: the cable does not propagate flame and does not release incandescent particles.
Is the cable SGS-certified and NTP-IEC compliant?
