PVC Drain and Vent Pipe and Fittings — 50 to 200 mm

Wastewater evacuation without leaks, with the strength and flex to take seismic movement. Diameters from 50 to 200 mm in 3 m lengths — the 200 mm ships in 6 m, and the rest are available in 6 m on order. Manufactured to NTE INEN 1374 for drain and NTE INEN 2474 for vent.

Vent lines go in alongside the drain: they stop odors, siphoning, and self-siphoning, and they are what makes a sanitary system actually work. Full spigot-bell fittings catalog — traps with and without cleanout, yees, tees, elbows, grates, cleanout adapters, and reducers. Factory Direct by the container.

Installation

Square cut, remove the burr, and dry-fit the joint before cementing. Clean both surfaces with solvent and a dry rag, apply cement to the spigot end over the same length as the socket, push the parts together and hold for thirty seconds. Wipe the excess and leave only the weld bead.

Where the Drain Line Operates

The underlying job is the same everywhere: move wastewater by gravity with no leaks and no odors.

Housing

Stacks, branches, and collectors in residential construction — 50 and 75 mm on branches, 110 mm on the stack.

High-rise

Sanitary stacks with vent lines alongside, where siphoning is the real risk to control.

Hospitality

Bathrooms, laundry, and kitchens, where the fixture count per stack makes venting mandatory.

Commercial

Malls and offices: 160 and 200 mm on collectors where the flow accumulates.

Replacement

Retrofits of old sanitary installations where diameter and socket have to match what is already in the wall.

Hardware retail

Steady turnover on 50, 75, and 110 mm plus traps and grates — the assortment that moves over a counter.

Buying Drain Pipe Wholesale — FAQ

What is the difference between drain pipe and vent pipe?

Wall thickness. Drain pipe carries liquid and is manufactured to NTE INEN 1374 with walls from 1.8 to 3.9 mm depending on diameter. Vent pipe only carries air, is manufactured to NTE INEN 2474, and runs a thinner wall — 1.5 mm at 50 mm against the drain line’s 1.8 mm at the same size. That is also why vent tops out at 110 mm while drain goes to 200 mm.

Why does a vent line have to go in alongside the drain?

Because without a vent, water running down the stack drags the air with it and empties the traps. That is siphoning and self-siphoning, and the result is sewer gas entering the building through the fixture drain. The vent equalizes pressure in the pipe, keeps the water seal in the trap, and is what makes a sanitary system behave the way it was designed to.

What does C/E mean in the fittings list?

C is campana (bell or socket) and E is espiga (spigot). The order describes each end of the part in sequence: a C/E/C tee has a socket at one end, a spigot in the middle, and a socket at the other. It matters when ordering because it determines whether the part inserts into the pipe or receives the pipe, and the wrong combination leaves a run that cannot close without an extra adapter.

Does the pipe come in 3 or 6 meter lengths?

The line standard is 3 meters at 50, 75, 110, and 160 mm. The 200 mm ships in 6 meters. The rest of the range is also produced in 6 meters on order, which is worth it when labor at the destination is expensive or when you want fewer joints on long collector runs. Tell us the destination and the job and we will put the mix together.

Can this pipe be used for pressurized water?

No. The drain line is gravity conveyance, non-pressure. For pressurized cold water the spec is PVC SCH 40 under ASTM D1785, and for high-pressure potable service connections there is threaded PVC pressure pipe. These are three different products with different walls and different joints — putting drain pipe on a pressurized line is a failure waiting to happen.

What is the minimum order?

Coverage is by the container, not the single stick. If the diameter and fittings mix fills a dedicated drain container, we book it that way; if not, it combines with the rest of the water and drainage line or with the plastics portfolio to reach a clean landed cost. Send the SKU mix and destination and we put the configuration together.
