Corrugated PVC Sewer Pipe, Type B — 110 to 975 mm
Double wall: corrugated on the outside for stiffness, smooth on the inside for flow. Manufactured to NTE INEN 2059 in nominal diameters from 110 to 975 mm, all in 6 m useful lengths, with larger diameters made by agreement between manufacturer and buyer.
By its structural design, Type B carries twice the ring stiffness of ordinary solid-wall drain pipe. It resists crushing, root penetration, and the corrosive action of acids, sewer gases, alkaline products, and salt water. Service life over 50 years. Factory Direct by the container.

Diameters and Stiffness — NTE INEN 2059
The line runs at two stiffness tiers. The 110 and 125 mm sizes are Series 6 and reach 8 kPa under ISO 9969; from 160 mm up the line is Series 5 at 4 kPa. A representative selection of the range is shown.

The full range also includes 175, 220, 280, 335, and 440 mm at the same Series 5 and the same 6 m length. The 1065, 1150, 1245, and 1325 mm diameters are manufactured by agreement between manufacturer and buyer. The ASTM D2412 figure is listed in psi with the kPa equivalent in parentheses.
Where Type B Corrugated Operates
The underlying job is the same everywhere: carry buried gravity flow through a chemically aggressive medium, under soil load.
Sanitary sewer
Municipal collectors and networks where sewer gas attacks concrete and Type B does not care.
Storm drainage
Stormwater networks at 400 mm and up, where the smooth bore is what sets conveyance capacity.
Subdivisions
Land development and housing projects: 160 to 315 mm on branches, 400 mm and up on the outfall collector.

Buying Corrugated Sewer Pipe Wholesale — FAQ
What does "Type B" and double wall mean?
Double wall means the pipe has two surfaces: a corrugated profile on the outside and a smooth wall on the inside, formed as a single piece. The outer corrugation is what provides structural stiffness without spending material, and the smooth inner wall is what provides flow. Type B is the profile designation under NTE INEN 2059. In practice it is what lets a light pipe take soil load without collapsing.
How is it different from solid-wall PVC drain pipe?
Stiffness and where it goes. By its structural design, Type B corrugated pipe has twice the ring stiffness of ordinary solid-wall drain pipe, which is why it is the one that gets buried in sewer networks under soil and traffic load. Solid-wall drain pipe is for sanitary installations inside the building: stacks, branches, and collectors. They are not interchangeable in diameter or in joint.
Why does stiffness change between 110/125 mm and 160 mm up?
They are two different series. The 110 and 125 mm sizes are Series 6 and reach 8 kPa under ISO 9969 Annex A, 63 kPa under DIN 16961 Annex B, and 57 psi under ASTM D2412. From 160 mm up the line is Series 5: 4 kPa, 31.5 kPa, and 29 psi respectively. That is the number the design engineer checks when verifying deflection against trench depth and traffic load.
Can it be used for pressurized water?
No. This is buried gravity conveyance, with no internal pressure. For pressurized water the product is a different one: PVC SCH 40 under ASTM D1785 or pressure pipe, with a different wall and a different joint. Putting corrugated pipe on a pressurized line is not a question of safety margin, it is the wrong product.
Is this the same as subsurface field drainage pipe?
No, and the difference is easy to see. Field drainage pipe is perforated on purpose to DIN 4262-1: its job is to collect water out of the soil and pull the water table down. Type B corrugated pipe is sealed: its job is to move flow from one point to another with nothing entering or leaving through the wall. Put perforated drainage pipe in a sewer collector and you get infiltration.
What is the minimum order?
Coverage is by the container. On corrugated pipe the diameter drives everything: a container of 160 and 200 mm holds a lot of linear meters, a container of 650 mm holds few, so the mix gets built off the real footage on the project. If it does not fill on its own, it combines with the rest of the water and drainage line. Send the diameter list with footage and the destination and we put the configuration together.
